How to read the report
What is the difference between a transfer, a payment and a result?
Moving money between the project’s accounts is not an expense. A payment is recorded against a specific need. An advance has been paid, but delivery or the work may still be pending.
Contributions are shown before donor refunds; payments are shown less supplier refunds. The balance is not necessarily all available to spend: some funds may be committed to agreed obligations.
Currencies, fees and refunds
The summary will show a US-dollar equivalent alongside its conversion method. Exchanging cryptocurrency is not a new contribution; exchange-rate changes are explained separately.
